90 DAYS LDR CHALLENGE: DAY 6 & 7

Assalamualaikum!

Day 6: How often do you see each other in person? What about over video chats?

He had come back home for at least 3 times this year and I would always make time to see him as many times as possible. I mean I never know when will I ever see him again.. We seldom do video chats but we made it possible to talk to each other on the phone for at least once a week. We see each other over text messages almost every day.

Day 7: What was it like the first time you two talked?

The first time we talked, huh? It was very casual, very spontaneous. Well there were silence in between but it was not awkward, at least I don't feel any. We talked about being research assistants and movies we've watched.

We only do self-introduction during our first time texting each other. We talked until about 1 a.m.

We talked again in person during our first outing together, not as a couple yet. We went out for a movie and it was nver a dull moment with her. I don't have to always check my phone, not even listening to the songs in the radio. It was fun. I know I had fun when these two things happened.

90 DAYS LDR CHALLENGE: DAY 3, 4 & 5

Assalamualaikum!

I decided to combine Day 3, 4 and 5 of the challenge in one post because the questions are kind of related. So...

Day 3: How long have you two been together?

It's been 6 months 8 days 12 hours...
I'm kidding.. hahah
It's been 7 months and 10 days since we were officially together;
and by together I mean as boyfriend and girlfriend.
We've known each other since January 4th and we were friends for a while before deciding to take a step forward.

Day 4: What was your first impression of him?

Hmmm.. My first impression of him?
He seems like one of those good, Ustaz-like boys.
He was wearing a white robe, of course, I would think that.
Hey but don't get me wrong! He is a good boy.
He's a Mama's boy in fact. which got me hooked. Hah!

Day 5: How did you meet? Tell us your story!

Okay.. This gotta be a Hindustan kinda story. We were introduced by our parents. Yep!
Okay, my mom's best friend introduced us. Apparently, my mom's best friend is his aunt and she planned it with his mom and my mom just went along. Her aunt gave me his phone number. I didn't wanna contact him first because I had a boyfriend back then.

And then his aunt invited me to dinner at his place since she's in town. Again I hesitated to go because I had a boyfriend. and apparently my boyfriend (now ex) didn't even care if I go, so I just went. And then we get to know each other, broke with my boyfriend and the rest is history 💗

If  I hesitated another second,
If my boyfriend (now ex) DID care that I went,
I wouldn't have met you. ❤

Our first meeting. Clockwise from front left: my mom, Aunty Ramlah, Aunty Yot, Aunty Dewi,
Him, Me, Aunty Morzie, Aunty Jijot (his aunt), his mom

P/S: I'm sorry I'm doing this challenge wrong but heyI'm still gonna tell my story

NEW BLOG

Assalamualaikum!

I've decided to start a new blog. I'm still posting stuff on my old blog; don't worry. My personal thoughts, emotions and rants would be channeled through the old blog. but probably won't be as much. I think. We'll see how.

This new blog would be more on my life story. Hence, FARZTORY. Geddit? Farz + Story = Farztory. I know right? I'm so smart.

I just figured out I've been a lot emo lately and I need to get rid of that off my system. I need to be more positive and less gloomy. All this adulting process is very difficult and it is taking a lot of space in my head lately. I tell myself every day that it is part of growing up. So as my resolution for 2018, I wanna have less emotional breakdowns, less anxiety attacks and just be positive. Would channel all that in this blog.

For my first post... Okay I mean my second post I'll be doing a 90 days LDR Challenge. It was on Tumblr but I decided to post it here instead. Yesterday marks the 7th month that me and my LDR boyfriend are together. It's been about 3 weeks since the last time I saw him. So I decided to start this challenge to kill time, 'til the next time we see each other. And also to help me cope with me missing him.

So, til my next post! Assalamualaikum~

p/s:  I havent got the chance to figure out the theme for this blog hence I'll be using the Blogger Template for the moment. Will definitely personalise it soon!
